Sporty high sneakers + dress in Verona

A little throwback to a couple of years ago, in my Erasmus year living in Italy. I did not remember that I had these photographs, this outfit, and this article prepared but which I never published here. I guess now is a good time to look back and see the wonderful places that await us when we get out of quarantine. I took these photos on my trip through northern Italy with my family. We took advantage of Easter holidays, more or less around this time, to take a Freccia train to Milan, and from there, visit the entire area of Lombardy and Veneto. We visited, in about a week and a half, Milan, Verona, Venezia, and Bologna, and then returned to "the base of operations" in Florence, where I lived at that time. The truth is that traveling through Italy when you are an Erasmus student is very cheap. And it is relatively simple: the train takes you everywhere.
To visit any Italian city in the Spring, and you will know it from the many articles I wrote during my year as an Erasmus student, you need to arm yourself with a pair of good sneakers and a warm and comfortable coat or jacket. Although in April, here in Spain, and more specifically in Valencia, we are all walking in our T-shirts with short sleeves in the morning and we can wear a light raincoat at almost all hours, in Italy it is really cold. So, if you were already following me during my Erasmus year, about two years ago, you will know quite well the kind of outfits I used to wear during my Italian adventure: I used to wear many dresses and skirts, but always with sports shoes or boots with thick soles. No ballerina flat shoes, as the very thin soles were uncomfortable for walking. And in Italy, you walk everywhere.
What do you think of this outfit? Have you ever dressed in a dress and sneakers, or the like? Have you ever visited Italy? Tell me in a comment!
