Wedding, baptism and first communion's season is approaching as every kind of important dates to share with family and friends is in this time of the year. That usually means opening-up our special-occasion closets to search for suitable dresses and outfits, which doesn't usually meet our expectations because of the exceptional of this kind of events. I haven't personally attended a wedding in years, so, my party and guest outfits are always in need of some sort of upgrade, fixing or new accessory addition.

This time, my friend Leticia and I went together to take a look and pick some accessories for her guest gown for her friends' wedding happening soon. We went to Gloria Velázquez, which is a fashion and accessories brand which has recently landed in Valencia, and which is specialized in special occasion and guest outfits. They have everything you can dream of: from guest outfits for daytime and evening, purses and clutches, headpieces, headbands and so on.

The protocol is usually quite strict in these events (although it always depends on every person and how seriously you take it) and from a daytime wedding to an evening one there's usually a whole world of different rules to "follow". So, every time I get to attend as a guest I prefer to be advised by brands which really know what they're doing, and where there's plenty of different outfits and dresses to choose.

Leticia and I are very different from each other: she's the kind who wears trousers and has a very carefree style, while I'm more on the princess style side. I love to wear long skirts and dresses and tulles and this kind of things as I usually attend very few events where I have the chance to elaborate a bit more than usual. So, the outfits you're about to see on this blog post show that there's a Gloria Velázquez for every one of us. No matter the event or your style, you'll always find something to fit you if you play with their many options in shapes, lengths, colors, materials, and accessories. So, no need to panic! Se acerca la temporada de bodas, bautizos, comuniones y otros eventos importantes con familia y amigos. Eso suele significar que hay que abrir el armario de los vestidos y looks para ocasiones especiales, que no siempre tiene la variedad que necesitamos debido a que esta clase de eventos suelen suceder de año en año. En mi caso, hace años que no voy a una celebración de este tipo, por lo que mis outfits de fiesta siempre necesitan alguna actualización, arreglo o complemento nuevo que añadir.

En esta ocasión, acompañé a mi amiga Leticia a elegir complementos para su vestido de invitada para la boda de unos amigos a Gloria Velázquez, una firma de moda y complementos enfocada a ocasiones especiales que acaba de abrir su tienda en Valencia hace muy poquito. Tienen de todo: desde looks de invitada para día y noche, accesorios y complementos como bolsos, diademas, tocados, bolsos... ¡Todo lo que os podáis imaginar!

El protocolo suele ser bastante estricto en esta clase de eventos (aunque siempre depende mucho de cada persona y cómo te lo tomes en serio), y de celebrar una boda de día a una boda de tarde o noche, hay un mundo entero. Por eso, siempre que tengo que asistir como invitada, me gusta ir a firmas donde puedan asesorarme y donde exista mucha variedad de vestidos y outfits diferentes.

Leticia y yo somos muy distintas: ella es una chica de pantalón y muy desenfadada, y a mí me encanta llevar faldas y vestidos de princesa aprovechando que suelo ir a pocos eventos donde vestir de forma más elaborada. Así que, los looks que veis en este artículo, demuestran que hay un Gloria Velázquez para cada una de nosotras y que combinando diferentes cortes, largos, colores, materiales y accesorios es posible ir ideal a cualquier lugar al que nos inviten.
