Rosegal's high-low coat and vampy look

I feel like I had this outfit post on the queue for YEARS, but the pictures were actually taken once I was back from Firenze in the Spring period. Sounds crazy, isn't it? I can't believe I survived temperatures as low as -8ºC the 1st of March and then, come back here and be +30ºC under a tree shadow. That's why I always like to wear clothes which let me add or remove layers, which are comfortable but still chic and always keeping my outfit on point. This Rosegal high-low coat with vampy vibes was the perfect match for those crazy weather changes I experienced this year, as the fabric is thin but the design allows enough room for a cozy sweater and a thermal undershirt.
My advice here is not to overdo the makeup or hair, and play with softer shades as the coat's shape, lace and laced back are striking enough. The key is adding some vampy and vintage vibes to the look but without it seeming too much. It's a subtle touch where everything has to match every other piece. In this aspect, what I liked about this coat is that you can also mix and match the colors on the laced back ribbons, or play with the front buttons to leave it free and get a different fit every now and then. In this outfit, I went for a total black look but with a touch added by the red lining on the tail of the coat, which I think makes the outfit look like a million bucks.
What's your on-the-go vampy look? Is layering still a thing when dealing with crazy temperature changes?
I was wearing:
H&M jumpsuit
Rosegal laced-up back coat (similar here)
Mise en Dior earrings
RayBan "Clubmaster" sunnies
Sfera white shirt
Thomas Sabo cord necklace
