Firenze Pitti Uomo 93 - Valentino and Replay take Firenze
9:00 AM
If there's anything I've absolutely fallen for during my experience at Pitti Uomo 93' it's witnessing with my own eyes how very few days before the event, the city of Firenze got filled slowly but gradually with fashion in every single corner. Everywhere you looked at you could breathe fashion, typical Pitti Uomo street style with women and men wearing fun checked suits and Panamá hats. They've even taken this iconic week to finally open the Gucci Garden at the Piazza della Signoria, and you can't even have an slight idea of how excited I am to enter to this space which is museum, store and restaurant at the same time so I can tell you what's around.
I had the funniest and most spectacular influencer dates to attend fashion events in Firenze with; that kind of people that you can only find in places like this and that you know love fashion even more than you do. With them I went to the cocktail in Valentino store at Via de Tornabuoni, one of the most glamorous and iconic streets of Firenze due to the extraordinary quantity of luxury brands' stores and flagship stores there. I don't think I ever been so close to lovely stuff and bright colors, besides people who loved and understood the brand as well, great music and a really cool photocall in which we could take pictures holding a VLTN basketball. As the fun fact of the evening, some sweets at the catering which ended up in chocolate all around my hands, and which I couldn't figure out how to get rid of.
Then, we went to the event organized by store Bottega Quatro, where you can usually find sort of disruptive and super different pieces, as metallic jackets, tons of velvety things or pants and sweatshirts that could perfectly come from a 70's/80's TV show. I always love its decadent but retro-chic atmosphere every time I get there to have a look, and that evening, the fish & chips truck in charge of the catering really nailed it, creating that sort of indetermination between different eras this store is about. No doubt, a must to stop by when shopping around Firenze.
Last, but not least, we approached the old tobacco industry on the edge of Firenze, the Manifattura Tabbachi now refurbished to held parties, galas and events as the LuisaViaRoma Firenze4Ever or for this occasion, the secret show by brand Replay, "HYPERFLEX" & #ReplayrocksFirenze. I absolutely loved the place, which ended up being an improvised club away from everything, where we could have some drinks and listen to the last hits played by the DJ'S. It was such a surprise and breathtaking experience to attend to this party in such a rare building, which isn't usually open to the public and without any doubt, was one of the funniest and most unique moments in this edition of Pitti Uomo.
I was wearing:
Easy Wear coat and sweater
Massimo Dutti sneakers
Vintage Prada earrings
Karen Millen sparkly bag
Zara fake leather pencil skirt

ReplyDeleteHope that you are having a good week so far! The weather has been more bearable this week which is nice, not the crazy high temps we had last week! Very different from your layering weather, haha.
