The ultimate fashion piece to never get tired of!
9:00 AM
I love garments and fashion pieces which allow me some room when it comes to change the way I wear them. Interchangeable, multi position... I have some fashion stuff carrying this adjective on my closet, be it dresses, undergarments and accessories that let me pair a single piece in multiple ways depending on the event or in how much hurry I am at that moment. These are the pieces that usually add character to an outfit (while saving some bucks, must be said!).
So, today I partnered up with Lightinthebox to show you an outfit idea for workdays or uni days, or even a casual homecoming dinner with friends! I think this corset T-shirt is the epitome of flexibility when talking about daily outfits, as you can change the ribbons in the grommets depending on the event (ode to fancy and sparkling ribbons FOR-E-VER) or the whole outfit assemble. I paired mine with 3m of black satin medium width ribbon, but this corset shirt could look astonishing with any kind of ribbon or color. And, talking about homecoming and interchangeable pieces... Why not choosing a multi position strap dress for a formal look at homecoming parties and alumni dinners? I really think these are a true investment, as they can be worn in many ways and never look the same!
In today's post, I'm unveiling what are my go-to tips for shopping or choosing fashion pieces to never get tired of:
#1 Choose great quality
Sometimes splurging a little bit extra pays off, especially when picking basics and timeless pieces such as blazers, dressy pants and shoes. Great quality doesn't necessarily mean expensive, as there are lots of physical and online shops both having great discounts and quality pieces worth the investment!
#2 Classy pieces that you love with a twist
If you feel comfortable with the style, pattern and material, I'm pretty sure you won't let go. My advice on this is pick fashion pieces that you love and you are used to, but always with a twist and adding variety.
#3 Go multi!
And, last but not least and as I stated before, go multi position! Pick pieces you can wear in as many ways as possible: strap dresses that can be twisted, crossed and rolled; turbans and diadems that could work as necklaces or bracelets; scarves that might be worn as turbans or hair embellishments... Imagination is power!
What are your tips for never getting tired of your clothing and accessories?
