Classy color blocked

First post of 2016! First of all, I wish you had the best of times at New Year's Eve and 1st of January. This year I spent the evening on a little, little town at my friend's since we both didn't have much of a plan by our own. So, we decided to go for a girl's night out and pajama party which was really fun and different than the regular party hard around. I don't know about you, but I haven't got much out of home this holidays. Instead, I've spent lots of time with my family, far away from work and class issues, keeping up with some old friends, drawing and designing... It's been fun too, as I usually spend lots of time out of home during class periods (I'm grateful I'm attending College here in Valencia and not miles away).
As I started 2015 with no resolutions at all, I plan 2016 to be different. This year, I want to be the best Amanda I can. I want to start new projects, to enjoy 200% whatever I'm into, to love every piece of the things I do and try to do as many things as I can. I've already got involved on lots of stuff at College, as collaborating at the Architecture School magazine, organizing some cultural events and coordinate little workshops for freshmen which is exciting and super interesting. It's crazy to be involved on so many things, but it is also crazy how many new people someone is able to meet, how many amazing ideas are flowing around and the great atmosphere. You know: "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life"
About the outfit, I just realized it's super similar to last year's first post! Same grey wrap coat, similar red dress! So anyway, here's a 2.0 version of a holiday/winter outfit for all of you to take some ideas, with some color-block trend touches. I find unbelievable I've had this coat for about a year and only worn it very few times, since it is the warmest and most comfortable ever. Maybe it's because its length. I don't feel it very handy for everyday, since I'm always carrying tons of things with me and there're no hangers in our classes (you have to leave everything on the surrounding available desks). So, my outfits for College are usually based on blazers and trousers or comfy, medium-length skirts.
I was wearing:
Massimo Dutti dress
Zara red bag
Rayban Wayfarer sunglasses
LaStrada pumps
Yera wrap coat
Hermès "La Maison des Carrés" scarf
Typical earrings bought at Mérida
