One year more
10:00 AM
Today I turn 22. I can't believe how quick this past year has gone by, how many good (and bad, of course. Because there's always a dark side) moments I've had the chance to live during my 21's, and how great the 22 are already feeling. I think the most important thing I've learnt this year has been to finally find my true self and stay true to it. After suffering from a massive kind-of-breakup about a year ago, I think I'm already into the path of being happy and positive, no matter what or who. I've learnt that no-one is going to love me if I'm not loving me before. That I am unique (we all are in our own ways!), and that I don't have to carry the world's weight on my shoulders! Never allow toxic people to crash into your life like I did. That's my 21's lesson for life.
Now talking about fashion, I think I've also made some changes on my way from 21 to 22 this past months. I think I'm now a little bit more mature when it comes to my outfits than I was a year ago. Now I wear neutral tones more than I used to, I'm not sticking -not too much- with florals anymore or I finally found that accessorizing matters. Like, a lot. Or, that day I decided I would wear a metallic swimming suit no matter what happened or who looked weird at me. I've learnt to declutter my wardrobe (and bedroom) from time to time because of mental-health, too. As I'm writing this, I'm still fighting with some stuff to fit in its right place.
Also, this year is plenty of new and exciting projects! So are the incredible guys I've been teaming up at College to bring those projects into reality. Nothing to do with fashion-blogging (neither with Architecture, I guess. Well, sort of) but we're all very into it and we are 200% implied into our project to be reality soon. It's incredible how fast and easy the ideas flow when your workmates are not just workmates, but they eventually become friends you can hang out with. I encourage you to find a pair of best friends you know you can work well with, so you might achieve this kind of crazy things.
For the time being, there's nothing more on my mind than to start enjoying 22 (Taylor Swift sang it, right?) and keep learning from my surroundings, meeting new people (always!) and being involved on exciting activities and projects. The last thing I would like to do is to betray my younger self, as I promised her I would be a superwoman someday. Don't worry: I'm already into it!
I was wearing:
Primichi high boots
"Sombreros Albero Valencia" Fedora hat
Joid'art earrings
Local store moto leggings
Sfera coat
Purificación García vest
Louis Vuitton bucket "Noé" bag
