Winter hues
10:00 AM
It feels incredible and almost surreal how fast weather changes in this city. One day you're wearing your shorts and T-shirts, and then you wake up to freezing cold wind and you suddenly turn into a spring roll wrapped around your knit scarf. Valencia certainly has a crazy, humid weather when Winter approaches, and it totally drives me crazy when taking clothes out of the wardrobe every night. Anyway, there's something nice and cozy about wearing up to four layers of clothes everyday when you go to College very early in the morning. You can play with those layers, have the chance to experiment with tons of textures and materials and have fun when pairing your go-to outfits for the week.
Anyway, any season is nice to get dressed up a little bit. And if there's fringe and monochromatic hues involved, I'm in! I wish I had the ability to get rid of dark tones and colors once it starts getting colder, but I just can't. There's something classy but so easy in wearing black and white or different shades of grey (pun intended). I'm not very good at mixing and combining different colors, I must say. Doesn't it happen to you? I find it very difficult to pair an outfit away from black+grey+red!
Although my quarterly exams are nearly, and I'm involved on way too many projects (I like to be a busy girl!), I still try to not go nutty and keep working hard every day, not only on the blog, but also on all the social media I'm at (Instagram has been this year's discovery for me!) so I can provide you the best content related to fashion, emerging designers and artists (remember to check out latest #behindthedesign post featuring David Yza!).
I was wearing:
Louis Vuitton black Alma bag
Vintage YSL jacket
Vintage earrings bought in Salamanca
Gadea red pumps
Elogy fringe skirt
