Palazzo in beige

It's not necessary being a supermodel to wear a lot of pieces you might think won't actually fit you. That's my personal mantra every time I face the closet, and I also think it's one of the most important messages I try to claim on this blog: no matter your shape, size, hair color... Always stand with the basics, play with fashion and be true to yourself.
And that's what I always try to show on my outfits! I may not have catwalk model measurements, and maybe I'm not as tall as I'd want to, but that's not a reason for not wearing pieces like palazzo pants or sheer textures. They key is to feel comfortable and confident with those pieces.
I personally loved this palazzo pants, although I may not use them on a daily basis. They're wide, comfortable, made from a really thin fabric and I also love how they fit me, how those pants make me feel taller and thinner. It's a nice feeling, and I think everybody should have those positive vibes when wearing anything!
This time I also played a bit with transparencies on this sheer floral top from Zara. I've been using it from time to time since I bought it some years ago, and I always end surprised on the infinite ways and outfits I can pair with this piece. Versatility it's the key!
What do you do to feel comfortable when pairing an outfit? Do you know what are your most flattering pieces?
I was wearing:
Zara sheer top and sandals
Local store palazzo pants and bracelet
Carolina Herrera "Sweedy" bag
