I've already talked to you about ''El Jardín de las Hespérides'' once. You might also know that it's maybe my favorite place ever on Valencia. Don't know why but it has a sort of mythological, quiet and evocative atmosphere which makes just the perfect of the sceneries. Specially to shot some fashion pictures.

It's not a super known place around the city. In fact, I even didn't know about it since a few months ago, so it's not crowded and full of child playing around. Just people reading on a peaceful state of mind, and pigeons which will run after you until you give them something to eat. And oranges. Also lots of oranges everywhere. So, we thought it was the perfect scenario to take this pictures wearing -finally- this scarf by emerging designer Jannine Helbling (you can get it here) which I won on a contest arranged by the blog Moda Vs. Tendencias. Thank you both, I loved the shawl!
I finally worn it as a belt because the whole ambient felt super warm to even walk on the street. Swimming pool: can't wait to meet you, dear!

So, I got into the garden on this floral jumpsuit, super 70's hippie inspired by local designer Manolita Faldotas. I've found myself turned into an orange addicted lately!

I really liked how this outfit ended looking. First because it felt like it was centuries from the last time I worn floral. Second because this is the kind of things I don't use to wear, but still love how cool they look! I encourage all of you to rock a floral jumpsuit and feel the happy vibes. It was a really fun afternoon playing hide and seek around the gardens.

Same girl, different looks. I love playing with fashion, specially with dresses. There's something special when you find that dress, the one which fits you, makes you feel confident, feminine, and everybody stops to look at you on the street. But to find it, there's no other way to try. Try, and try until you get exhausted (or not), until you find that style and shape that makes you feel not only beautiful but also comfortable as you walk out the door.

So, on the morning I spent at OhVintageShop I had the chance to try super different styles, some of them a bit unusual to the ones I usually wear, some of them more accurate to my daily basis. On this post I wanted to show you how to style backless dresses for this summer: similar shape, absolutely different styles and looks.

The first to shot was this summery, super sexy and beachy Versace with starfish and that mermaid inspired pattern. Awesome for endless cocktails and parties which last until dawn, I paired it with a statement necklace full of beads with remind of pearls. Just to follow a little bit with all the mermaid theme thing. Wear your hair on a quick and messy updo, pick a cool straw tote (get yours here) and you're done for party and dance all night long!

The second dress was more formal, classy and ladylike! Vintage from Vivienne Westwood this polka dotted, straight dress got into my heart immediately. Playing with the monochromatic, black and white concept, we matched this ''woman in black'' look with sparkly diadem (sparks are always nice. Specially if they're on fancy diadems and hairpieces. Who doesn't like hairpieces? They're super fun to wear) and black and white stilettos as well. Two different outfits for different moments but the same woman.

You all know exactly how truly fan and crazy girl I'm for anything having to do with vintage. That antique and unique glamour, the seams on an old piece and its delicate designs which nowadays is hard to find.

Here's a collaboration that I was really looking forward to show you guys, but which wasn't possible to release before. Blame my final exams and deliveries!

We headed up to OhVintageShop downtown in Valencia to meet Silvia, the manager behind this place inside El Altillo showroom, a space where you can find second hand and vintage treasures and also new, out of the ordinary pieces. When we heard about this place, we knew it was a nice occasion to not only add a new vintage store to our list, but also meet new people, spread the word about this spot in Valencia and have fun while shooting this ''how to wear vintage'' ideas for all of you!

From Loewe, to Luis Vuitton or MiuMiu, no matter what you're looking for: Silvia will help you find the right piece for that event or special occasion, or that statement bag you're looking for. For this first outfit, I chose a really eye-catching two piece sparkly suit, consisting on a dress and a matching jacket from the Spanish brand Loewe.

My eyes just twinkled when I saw this set. Classy, simple and sexy but super subtle! Nice for a cocktail party or that special dinner, isn't it? I paired it with a statement feather diadem, the Ferragamo pumps I got in NYC and this vintage bracelet which is just striking. Plus there're a bunch of posts coming with different pieces I wore, really looking forward to know your comments and opinions, always welcomed!

VLC Loves Design afterwork. Due to the 10th anniversary of a local shopping centre, the platform VLC Loves Design which features emerging brands and designers, placed a stand with some of their products and invited us to a fashion party, filled with music, a catwalk and a Calvin Klein makeup masterclass. This really makes me think about the Younique.es launch party I atended a year ago, arranged by the same team.

D´Repente Lola, Ethic Rose, Carmen Trilles and Natta Design were the featured designers at the event, a little bit out of the typical Fashion Week designers, which sometimes will give you the impression that you can only see, but not touch. What I really liked about this collections and this afterwork was that you could actually not only see but touch and feel the clothing on you. All the pieces were available at the stand some floors downstairs, and you could try whatever you wanted and buy it. I think it's a nice way to ''humanize'' this kind of unique, craftsmanship pieces.

Plus, all the pieces which were super diverse had this kind of clothing for the real world feeling, which means that despite all the super original and creative designs, they were very wearable for everyday, or an event. They were possible. We saw elegant gowns by Carmen Trilles, a super fun and Spanish inspired collection by D'Repente Lola, accessories and jewelry by Natta Design and 50's inspired pieces by Ethic Rose. Who said coats where only for winter? Summer is almost here, we're having warmer temperatures and some mornings I literally end arriving home exhausted, heated like a piece of bread on an oven. But sometimes the weather gets really crazy, and if you go out a little later than usual on the evening, air blows and it feels pretty unpleasant to not taking with you a jacket...

... Or a super light coat like I did. This is my first collaboration with the online clothing brand Sheinside, and when they told me about showing you an idea to style a piece like this bright, super vivid yellow coat I couldn't help but accept the challenge.

At first I was a bit afraid I couldn't wear it, as even it was the largest size it looked very tiny for me! I took it to the laundry service to get it ironed and it finally fitted me.

I like the light texture it has, and the yellow color which is super bright. Truth is that I don't think I will really wear it on super cold winter days, but for sure I'll take it with me when it gets a bit warmer. It's the perfect piece to spice your outfits with a pop of color, to add fun and vitality!

On this outfit I wore it as the principal color, paired with this polka dot skirt and espadrilles to give the look a more natural, inspired by sun and summer touch.

#bloggergandia with Urbalab. About two weeks ago we attended a blogger meeting at Gandia, a town near Valencia where there was held a little lecture about starting your own blog, and where more established bloggers could present their sites to the public, and encourage those who where about to start their own blogging adventure.

I wanted to go because it was a great opportunity not only to show my blog and explain the concept behind it on a minute (which was truly crazy... I got so nervous!) but also to meet others who have just founded their own sites, share experiences and do some networking. I was pleased to see that there's a lot of people who loves to share their lives, what they write or cook on their own blog. Coaching, DIY, people who run their own business on a blog, and also some fashion bloggers as me. It was a truly enriching experience thanks to the Urbalab Gandia team.

We also met some nice initiatives like Iron Blogger (a sort of brand new blogger social network) or Miottech, which is a prototype of a ''hashtagmeter'' (how original and cool is that?) and which was presented to all of us on the event.

As I had to talk in front of some people and stand for SomethingFashion there, I decided to pick an outfit which described the essence of this blog: DivinaProvidencia vintage inspired dress with this classy yet stylish ''toile de jouy'' pattern and lace up sandals.
