The girl obsessed with kimonos. That's my new name. When oriental motifs started being trend again, you can't even imagine how happy I was. I don't know, Asian culture has always fascinated me, and I'm a real freak when talking about their fabrics, awesome patterns, typical clothing and so on.

When I discovered Aupie, a new fashion online store, and saw this loose blouse full of flowers, which actually looks like a kimono, I couldn't help and ordered it. No matter how much I had to wait until it arrived... I just couldn't wait to wear it and show you a nice, remastered and trendy way to wear a kimono!

The blouse is made from chiffon, and it's lined so it's pretty warm (I can wear it on winter, yay!). The seams are strong, the size just perfect as it's my usual (M, always M) and the color is as bright and playful as it looks on the pictures. I think it's a really versatile piece: you can wear it with jeans and your favorite flats to go to class, or with a dress like I did, for a more formal outfit on this terrace for a snack. Garments you can use on lots of combinations and in different outfits are those I'm always looking for. They key is to be able to wear it a lot, but achieve totally different looks.

You know I always want to introduce you new brands and stores, online or offline. Style doesn't have to be expensive, and it's always about mixing clothes and pieces on a right way. I think Aupie reaches that, and has a nice collection of inexpensive and chic clothing, also with a great quality. I would never accept sponsoring a brand or store whose products I didn't like, and of course which I thought you wouldn't like as well.

Turban girl. I'm not personally that kind of person who loves wearing hats, and hair accessories and only wears her hair as natural as possible. But I've been suffering a kind of obsession lately with turbans and fashion hair pieces, just to give my outfits a different touch, a bit more bohemian than usual, I don't know.

So, after looking around like a crazy thing for a turban that fitted me (it had to be really simple lined, made of a plain color and which covered all my head) I finally found this one on ASOS! I couldn't believe it, because I looked around before on so many places, but never found anything I really liked.

I also experimented a little bit with my makeup, and tried to do some contouring. I think it ended really natural, almost too much without my usual bright lipstick! I somehow feel that this makeup fits this vintage dress better, because too much colors would make this look too formal...

Inexpensive fashion on the go. One of my goals when I created this blog was to spread the word that being stylish is not expensive, and it is also really simple. Many people have asked me many times how I get to have a timeless, simple but very effective look whenever I go anywhere, no matter if it's an event, a night out with friends or even dressing for College.

So this post if for all of you folks who want to dress well but without spending all your savings on it. It's not necessary to have a 1,000$ pair of shoes, but just know what are the basic clothing pieces on the right colors. Those are the key to a successful outfit, and I personally don't mind on spending a little bit more than usual on them (basically because a good material and quality makes the difference on the time they will last on your wardrobe) and as a piece I'm sure you'll use a lot... Well, it simply worths it. So, let's get started!

1. Leather bag. Browns, grey and black are the most versatile colors. Find one that fits you with its shape and size. There are a lot of models, and you'll easily find any great choice from almost any brand, so you won't have to spend about a fortune on a Cèline or Luis Vuitton one. Leather is extremely durable, and depending on the type usually easy to clean and maintain.

2. Leather jacket. As well as on handbags, having a basic leather jacket is clue. Biker, field jacket, classic... There're lots of models you'll want to try on. They are more expensive than a ''regular'' knitted jacket or one made of wool, but if you take care of it you'll keep it rest of your life, for sure!
