Yellow lace in town
10:00 AMEl Perelló town. Spending few days here really feels like a retreat. No Internet, no connection with the rest of the world, only the beach and tranquility when you go out for a walk near the sand. No hurries and chill out. I like to spend a few days here during summer holidays, because there are really cool places to take pictures.
As this a small town for holidays, older people here are very conservative in their dress, so going out for an ice cream with an striking yellow dress and high heels can be a little shocking, and everybody usually looks weird at you. Anyway: it was really fun to shoot this pictures on the town bridge that was re-opened a few months ago.
This outfit actually has a curious story behind: let's say it's half Spanish and half U.S., because part of the things I'm wearing came on my luggage from the trip to New York but the other where bought here. It's amazing how you can find so many different things than the usual to put in your closet when you travel! In fact, this sandals are one of my best findings of all the trip: Kenneth Cole Reaction soles, bought on a thrift store at 23St. Although there's still much more stuff to show you, as well as nice ideas to wear similar pieces!
I was wearing:
Yellow lace dress bought in El Corte Inglés
DKNY bag
LOFT statement necklace
Kenneth Cole sandals from thrift store
Guess sunnies
Mightiest Maraschino Clinique chubby stick
