New York - Part I
3:00 PM
New York. Finally here are the pictures of the 10-day trip, which will be fragmented on three or four posts because... NYC is a huge city so there're lots of things to tell and many pictures to show!
Let's get started then... First of all, let me tell you that there're some things you absolutely must see as a newbie traveller to New York. The Empire State building is one of those things you can't lose. Breathtaking sights of the entire city, maybe is the best thing you can do on your first day there to get located on the metropolis.
As an architecture enthusiast, I also couldn't avoid visiting some of my favorite buildings and places ever (seen zillion of times on TV series and movies), which are surprisingly close to each other: the Public Library, Central Station, Rockefeller Center and Times Square (really amazing but also overwhelming with so many people around). As you can see, simple outfit for traveling: comfy dress with sailor inspired stripes, camera bag and black flats. The key is on the accessories!
I was wearing:
Modcloth ''What's the Lineup?'' dress
Black flats from local store
Rayban Wayfarer sunnies
DuraPro camera bag
Necklace from street market
Chrysler Building is one of those which makes my curiosity and imagination absolutely crazy. What's on with that semicircle structure on the highest part?!
Grand Central Station is an iconic building for me, and maybe for most of you who have been following Gossip Girl. Hehe, you may remember Serena Van der Woodsen walking around there on the first episode of the series...
Its colorful clock with Tiffany crystals on the main facade is one of my favorites ever.
