When spring begins, I usually change my wearable and ''safe'' winter colors as red, black and white, for floral patterns, colorful and fun dresses. Nice weather and sun inspires me to mix colors and accessories. This time I decided to wear this Bernie Dexter green dress I bought on late summer. The pattern reminds me a jungle. With monkeys, lianas and tropical flowers. It's bright and fresh, like a bit wild somehow and the dress has a lovely full skirt.

I bought it via Modcloth, one of my favorite vintage inspired online stores ever, you know. At first sight it was pretty difficult to pair the outfit, but then I realized I could overdo it a little bit. I think it ended like a totally Spring hymn with the green bag and daisy necklace.

I have always found something magic in black dresses. I usually love them in all shapes and materials, no matter if it's lace or chiffon, long or short, full skirt or straight... Coco Chanel thought it already with the ''little black dress'': it is an essential piece on any woman's wardrobe, affordable, long-lasting and stylish.

This is not the typical ''LBD''. Specially because it's longer and has some dot details on the neck. I bought it on a great local second hand store called Madame Mim, which I discovered not so long ago and where you can find a wide variety of clothing from the 70's, 80's and 90's and lots of curious vintage objects. This kind of long black dresses made of heavy fabric have some issues: you must put some colors to the outfit, or it may be at risk of making you look like a widow... Let's admit it: total black is great, but sometimes is not correct at all. That's why I added the golden belt, the sparkly bag and the white jacket. I think all the pieces together make the outfit mature, but not gloomy.
