This three weeks of ''Christmas 2.0'' holidays are being quite weird for me, especially because I don't have classes, but still must study for the coming exams (I'm already having two of them next week!). So, sometimes I feel like I must go out from home and take some fresh air, so I can continue with my tasks without turning nuts. Just walking around, watching the activity on the streets and studying the buildings it's another hobby for me.

There're many interesting things you can visit on Valencia. One of my favourites is the ''Estación del Norte'', it's like the central train station here. It belongs to the modernism style, and its principal facade it's charming with all those orange motifs and colorful garlands. In front of it, there's the bullring. The day we shot this pictures, we also went to the ''Puente del Mar'', wich is a beautiful pedestrian bridge crossing the river gardens.

The outfit I chose (I must confess) wasn't the right for that warm day, but weather has become crazy, and I went out of home thinking it was going to be cold and rainy. Anyway, this is the kind of things and makeup I usually wear for university and classes, so I thought it could be great to show it to you: it's comfortable and discreet although I'm wearing a pair of rain boots (with heels!). Classy but not boring, with the Chanel inspired tweed jacket and the little fur bag. And go simple with the makeup! A soft winged eye and a bit of color on your lips like me, may be okay ;)

Sometimes it's not possible to go out and take pictures but, if you're smart enough, you can find really cool spaces inside. All you have to do is find a clear place with some natural lightning if possible, and take the tripod or someone who took the pictures for you, and pose!

This pictures were actually taken on my bestfriend's house, and she helped me to shoot them. It was quite cold outside, and it wasn't the perfect day to go out with this super short cocktail dress. I bought it last year on sales from Zara, which I really think were much better than this year sales... Fortunately, there's still more time to look for bargains!

Here's the expected post about architecture & fashion I talked to you about some posts ago. Today I want to talk to you about something we see everyday and maybe we don't think about it too much, but can be considered another important point at fashion: window displaying and visual merchandising.

Why I consider this architecture? It's another way to create spaces, and creating a window display or a shop itself is somehow another way to designing an interior project. You must work with light, furniture, colors and lots of factors as you'd do on a house, on a work space as an office, etc. The goal here is that you want the client to gaze at the product you want to. You want to get someone's attention at what you're selling, and it has to look 200% incredible than it actually is.
Think about this: maybe you didn't have looked at that dress or shirt if a designer didn't put the light like this or that.

• What: Window displaying, and fashion shop design in general. The principal target is to attract the client and create a sort of visual impact.

Already working as hard as possible on my exams. I don't have classes for almost two weeks, so I also try to spend some time on the blog too, because too much study would turn me nuts. As I said on a previous post, I'm also writting a post about architecture & fashion, which will come soon I hope, but by the moment it's still ''under construction''. I also changed a little bit the header and design and profile. Do you like it?

About this outfit... We're having a very weird weather around here lately. It's winter, but it's quite sunny some days, next day is windy but warm, next day as cold as we're on Finland... I chose this outfit for a lunch with my family past weekend, and as it was one of those ''weird weather'' days, I wore this short brown dress  from Studio Classics (another bargain at sales!) with my Zara yeti coat.

The statement necklace was found by my mum downtown. At first sight I didn't liked it very much, I thought it looked too sparkly for me... But when you're wearing it, it really changes, and looks cute!

Today I'm not going to show you a new outfit. I'm going to tell you how to create it. I think one of the reasons I write this blog is to inspire other people and try to help them with their fashion issues. Who hasn't ever stood in front of the closet and start thinking... ''What do I wear today?''?

So, because of that, I really wanted to make a ''quick, easy and illustrated guide'' on ''HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT OUTFIT''. Here we go!

So, I already came back to classes and give homework, and drawing like a crazy thing. I'm having some exams very, very soon, so I won't be able to post as much as I did on Christmas holidays. However, I took hundreds of pictures during those days, and I still have many outfits and exciting ideas to show you (I'm thinking about doing a sort of ''round up'' of bloggers showing their style, and featuring them here. What do you think?). I'll be posting and writing about them when my exam weeks finish.

OK. A brief description of the outfit and so on. As you know, I ''discovered'' Karen Millen's designs not long ago just because some items caught my attention because they were on sale. Some of those items were  the sparkling bag and this B&W dress, which seemed to be too small/classy/I don't really know. I really liked it at first sight, and I was a very lucky girl trying it out and checking that it really suited (seems made for girls with a small waist, but the skirt's shape doesn't attract attention to hips. Perfect!).

I also think the details are delicate and very polished: the straps and round neck with that bow/twisted piece, the belt, the lining and seams... Definitely: that kind of bargain you're always proud to have found.

It was hanging on the mannequin windows. It was too cute and sparkly to be real. But it was too small. After the ''recognition round'' around the store, trying some things, and taking this black and comfy pumps, I decided to go to the kids section, just being curious about. And as you can see, I found it! It's the biggest size from kids, and fits pretty well because I'm not very tall hahaha. I think it's a little bit childlike and may remind a princess costume, but I thought it was a nice idea for a party, and I really liked its white/cream color and shape, which is also very comfy (you know: not too short, not too long).

I also bought another similar dress from this section in blue with sequins (this one is a sort of mermaid/princess costume). Wore it the last night with the classmates before holidays for a party, and they just loved it! Conclusions about of all this: 

This pictures were actually taken before New Year's Eve. My friend and I spent the whole morning around dowtown, taking pics, and shopping for some last hour gifts for Archi-friends (books with hundreds of illustrations and pics. We love them, hahaha) and so on. We went to Colon Market, where a huge Christmas tree was waiting for us. As the morning agenda was 50% taking outfit pictures, I decided to wear this skirt I found some months ago on a thrift store. I love how the pattern reminds Hermés scarves, and how it's shape and material its made of makes it super comfortable, but still elegant and classy.

We also found a great fashion market on the basement floor of the place, the ''COOL MARKET'', which was full of vintage and second hand fashion stuff but also new, corners with emergent designers, I saw some fashion bloggers from Valencia... I bought a pair of cute necklaces you'll see soon. I also bought the lipstick I use the most: ''Color Last VIP Classy Red'' from Astor. It's perfect for any occassion, and even for school! I also took some pictures for you to enjoy the awesome modernist style of the architecture at Mercado de Colón. See you on next post!
