Brilliant brown

Wow, feels like I've been studying Architecture all my entire life and not for only two weeks. Since I've entered University, I've started being very, very focused on what I'm doing, so you know: no time to blog, no time to take pictures for the blog (but I've taken TONS for class), and even no time for great outfits since it feels like I always leave home late in the mornings.

But, I must confess it: I absolutely love what I'm doing there in University. I have too many drawings to do, so many pictures to take, and I carry a huge portfolio with me every morning and all day long. But it's great. I've met lots of new people and made friends too, I discover awesome new things everyday, and seems like I'd turn nuts when I go out from there, because all I can see on my mind are boxes, drawing proportions, different measures and lines. You'll see on the pictures below some drawings of windows and stuff I've been doing as homework (I really wanted to show you them!).

So, about the outfit... This photos were taken a couple of days before starting my classes. We went out for dinner, and couldn't resist to wear my Carolina Herrera bracelet. It was an absolute investment (and also the necklace, which you'll see someday maybe...) but its original design, quality and awesome sparkle captured me, and it worths it. Ok, not the most wearable piece to go clubbing with your friends or go to school, but perfect for a special event or a dinner out. As my feet still hurt (I got to the doctor, and he said I have some little trouble with my legs tendons, so both my feet have bad support and they get hurt easily) I decided to wear those comfy wedge leopard sandals, as the colors matched perfectly my Primark dress and the leather tote bag.

You'll know about me very soon, I hope. I'll try to share with you the greatest moments of this new phase my life has entered in and some cute outfits, tips and so on :D Thanks for the nice comments, as always. Sorry for not replying to all, but I always read them!

Dawn and Dew Drop Dress: Modcloth review

You've already seen me wearing ModCloth apparel. Since I tried the Very Berry Charming dress and did the review, I really wanted to repeat the great experience of having an amazing, almost unique dress (because as they come from the USA, it's quite weird to see someone wearing the same dress you bought there) with amazing quality and good design.

So, after thinking for a while about it, I really decided to order the ''Dawn and Dew Drop dress'' I fell in love with. As it was a bit more expensive than the other one (and maybe, one of the most expensive pieces you could ever find on my dress wardrobe) I wasn't sure at all, but its sophisticated, classic vintage shape and the awesome colors on the pattern finally captivated me.

If you read my last Modcloth review you already know that the package arrived very quickly and that I had no problems with the delivery. This time I had. I don't know why, the dress seemed to be lost after two months of ordering it. As I chose the deliver service whose packages arrived on a 7-21 days (as in my other order), after a month of placing the order it I thought it was really, really weird. I contacted the ''Customer Care'' service, and they told me that they didn't know where my package was, but gave me a gift card with the total value I spent on this order. What should I do then? My size was absolutely sold out, and I thought I would never see that dress on me. I felt really heart-broken, and I ordered another dress with a similar value which caught my eye before seeing this one.

But, surprise! Almost three months after, the dress arrived successfully. The dress I ordered after with the store credit, arrived yesterday too and also fits quite well (and it's also awesome) so, I'm not thinking about returning any of them.

Ok, now let's talk about the dress: the price, absolutely deserves it. Again, it's made of a heavy strong fabric which allows it to stay in place, and as the skirt seems to be having metres and metres of cloth, it's a full skirt which really seems to fly when you walk. Just amazing. It also has lining on the inside, and a tulle on the bottom of the skirt (a little bit uncomfortable because it's itchy) which makes it more ''vintage looking''. I ordered an M size, as it said it runs true to size. And it did on me. I don't really have too much bust, so I thought because of the crossed shape it would be a no-go for me. But it really fits well, and makes a lovely effect.

It's not too short or too long. A bit over the knee. And the colorful floral pattern has a lovely golden shine which is really stunning.

So, although of the bad experience with the delivering, I'm really happy it has finally arrived, and that I can finally have this fantastic piece to wear. I would really recommend this dress after all.

University lifestyle: Here we go!

I think yesterday was one of the craziest days in all my entire life. A huge assembly hall on the Architecture School of Valencia received us, about 300 people on the first year on more than 5 classes. Luckily I had some mates from before: fencing, Facebook meetings, friends' friends... You know. So meeting up was pretty nice, and I already know some of my classroom mates who will be with me for the following 5 years.

I was very excited to show you what I wore them, and share with you my feelings on that day. I still have lots of people to meet, and teachers have already introduced some of the most important things on this studies. First of all, seems that Architects (or wannabe architects) don't sleep. Then, seems like they really like to walk, because my new school is full of stairs up and down. Is absolutely crazy.

I decided to wear something very comfortable but still catchy. As I know I'll be carrying lots of stuff soon (journal, pencils, maybe books and even my laptop!), I decided to buy this Lamarthe brown leather bag about a month ago, which I think is perfect for University. Have you ever seen ''Doraemon''? Well, this bag reminds me its magic pocket. It's being colder on early morning, so as my lace shirt from Hollister is very thin, I decided to take with me this yellow blazer, which added the ''old school'' look, but also matched pretty well the color on the brown flats and bag.

And yay! I finally received on Tuesday morning all the packages I talked to you about on the last post. First of all, my Dawn and Dew Drop Dress from Modcloth which I had some issues with, because it seemed that the package lost (it was ordered about three months ago), and finally ordered another dress (which arrived today). I'll tell you the details very soon if possible. Also, the Faceted Beads Pendant Necklace from Romwe which looks from the 50's. So elegant and classy.

And finally, the exciting part: my items from Untitled Label, a new brand which I'm collaborating with. The ring I'm wearing on this outfits come from there (thanks girls!) and I'm also planning some outfits with the mint asymmetrical skirt. But, advice! The ring runs a bit bigger, and if you just loved the skirt, please size up! Mine is L and it's a bit difficult to go in.
